Animoto Homepage


As Animoto's Head of Design, I introduced a new methodology to rapidly envision future-state customer experiences. Using intensive, multidisciplinary workshops, we have shaped the design of our responsive website and newly released iOS mobile app.


Better Mortgage

In the summer of 2016, I conducted a 9-week digital ethnographic study of mortgage refinance applicants. The purpose was to understand the entire human experience of the refinance process, and to inform Better's product experience strategy.

Rosemary Hallgarten

Reprising a successful engagement from seven years earlier, in 2015 I worked with luxury textile designer Rosemary Hallgarten to create a new, responsive e-commerce website that features her couture rugs, fabrics, and accessories.

Working for Comcast in 2014-15, I was the lead UX designer for the self-care section of the XFINITY website, where customers pay their bills and manage their services.

Yodle Dashboard


As Vice President of UX at Yodle in 2012-13, I led the design of a new tool to allow small business owners to track the performance of their online marketing efforts. It increased engagement from the previous version by 95% YoY.

George Washington University

The George Washington University

In the role of Creative Director, I worked with SapientNitro in 2010 to lead a team of 25+ in designing a unified online experience for The George Washington University, which previously had hundreds of disparate web properties.

CVS Health Information Center


CVS/pharmacy took on a major redesign of its website in 2007. I managed the user interface (UI) design track, which included both retail and pharmacy transactions.

Volkswagen Passat Campaign

Volkswagen of America

Working with Arnold Worlwide in 2005, I helped design the online component of an award-winning campaign to launch the new Volkswagen Passat, called the Alpha Drivers Program. The program generated sales of 278 new Passats.

L.L.Bean Call Center


Beginning in 2002, I worked with L.L.Bean on a multi-phased project to redesign the UI of its call center system for order entry and inquiry. Due largely to improved usability, L.L.Bean was able to cut training costs in half.

Staples Wireframe


In 1999 and 2000, I worked with Staples on the design of its e-commerce site. The launch of the new expanded customers' product selection from 30,000 to 130,000 items and resulted in an immediate 20% increase in sales.
